Generally, our assets are compatible with any professional video editing software: Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Davinci Resolve, After Effects, LumaFusion, etc
Each of our product lines (VFX, SFX, Color, etc) has slightly varied compatibility, so read below to learn more about the specific editing software each product line is compatible with.
Music and SFX
Our audio assets are available for download in WAV format and are compatible with any major video or audio editing platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Avid Media Composer
- Vegas Pro
- Filmora Video Editor
- LumaFusion
- Apple Logic Pro X
- Avid Pro Tools
- etc.
After downloading, simply import an audio file into your editing program as you would with any other video or audio file.
VFX
Our VFX overlays are encoded in ProRes, and are compatible with any non-linear editing software that allows you to change the “blend mode” of clips on your timeline to “screen.” This includes, but is not limited to, programs such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro X
- DaVinci Resolve
- Sony Vegas
- Adobe After Effects
- NUKE
- LumaFusion
- Filmora Video Editor
- etc.
Avid Media Composer and iMovie do not have “blend mode” settings and are not supported.
Check with your editing software’s help documentation to ensure that you have the “screen” blend mode option.
Finishing LUTs™
Finishing LUTs are compatible with any software that supports 3D LUTs. Compatible programs include, but are not limited to:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Avid Media Composer
- Filmora Video Editor
- LumaFusion
- Adobe Photoshop
- etc.
Finishing LUTs work with any standard video footage (Which should be in a color space known as Rec. 709 by default). If you shoot standard footage on your camera, you’re good to go.
Note:
Finishing LUTs are not conversion LUTs. If you shoot in LOG format or a different color space, please normalize your footage to Rec. 709 before applying a Finishing LUT.
Finishing LUTs are not Lightroom presets.
